Write an essay about how your family has shaped you, which means--who has affected your life. Maybe you are artistic because someone in your family paints. Maybe you are musical because your cousin plays the guitar and you like it too. Perhaps you work hard because your father works hard and expects you to work hard, too. Maybe your parents are strict so you are traditional. There are many possibilities and it is not just our parents or siblings who affect us, but also grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws.
