SMRT 125 - UNIT 3 - Essay Topic this week

Your topic this week is Celebrations.  Write about your favourite celebration or holiday and why it is your favourite.  Also describe the traditions around this holiday and how most people celebrate it.  Then, if you celebrate this holiday differently than most people, write about it.  For example, in North America, New Year's Eve is celebrated by parties--not with family necessarily--but with friends or by going out for a fancy dinner and dance and getting dressed up.  My family celebrated this holiday differently from our peers.  For us it was a traditional Scottish holiday where family only got together and has a specific meal and did specific things.

The essay should be three paragraphs.  Write in the essay in the final box on the essay page--you can use the introduction and body paragraph boxes for notes only.

Due on Tuesday at 8:00 am--you can use google doc or write on paper--your choice.
